What is the lighthouse plan?
The Lighthouse Plan is a dynamic project dedicated to building libraries in schools in underprivileged parts of the world.
Our mission is:
- to build and stock libraries in schools in places where access to education is currently limited;
- to build these libraries so that young people have somewhere where learning and imagination can flourish;
- to combine hands-on volunteering with donations to get these libraries constructed.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

How can you get involved?
There are loads of ways that you can get involved in the AVCAS Lighthouse Plan. You could:

We take great pride in the fact that, even though we are a comparatively young organisation, we feel we're helping bring about really positive change.
We're a small but growing team and we don't have a CEO extracting a ludicrous salary - almost all of the money we raise goes directly to the causes we're working on.
